The story
Before search systems,
I built broadcast systems.
My career started in live television, where the problems are public, the deadlines do not move, and the system has to hold while millions of people are watching.
Since 2014 I have worked in broadcast engineering, robotic camera systems, IP video and remote production across some of the largest live shows on television — three Super Bowls, both the broadcast and the Halftime Show, the Academy Awards, the Emmys, the Grammys, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, America's Got Talent, the BET Awards, The Masked Singer and Love Island.
None of that work is visible to the audience, and that is the point. A signal path, a camera control system and a show file either hold up live or they do not. You learn to read the whole system before you touch any part of it, and to verify a fix instead of assuming it worked.
Burnworth Co. applies the same method to a different technical system: the one connecting a business to its customers through its website, search, and now the AI assistants people ask before they ever open a search results page.
